JUICY BOUDOIR
PHOTOGRAPHY
Your Boudoir Investment
Clearly considered from the start

A boudoir session asks for time, planning, and a financial commitment that should never be left vague. The chapters ahead bring every part of your investment into clear view: what the Retainer includes, how photographs and artwork are chosen, and the options available when you prefer more time to plan. You will understand the full structure before you are asked to reserve a date or choose a Collection.
CHAPTER 01
Making Room
For the afternoon still written
in the margins

Your days already hold responsibilities that rarely wait their turn. It can be easy, almost habitual, to set your own plans aside first. Not because they matter less, but because they are the easiest to postpone. Planning a boudoir session does not require interrupting the life already asking things of you. It requires clarity, enough time to prepare at your own pace, and the freedom to choose photographs and artwork without pressure to purchase more than you want.
The relief lies in knowing every choice is your own
You are not asked to settle important decisions during a hurried phone call, and there is no minimum artwork purchase.
Luxury has never meant placing an afternoon like this beyond reach. To me, it means being looked after: having options, time to think, and a clear understanding of what comes next. Before a Juicy photoshoot is reserved, we meet for a casual, in-person, zero-obligation Consultation at a coffee shop in Sundre. Your questions, preferences, boundaries, and practical considerations guide the conversation before any date is chosen. When you are ready to reserve your date, the Retainer is $399 + GST. It is non-refundable and earned upon receipt; photographs and artwork are purchased separately.
CHAPTER 02
In the Time It Takes
The afternoon finds its own rhythm

The $399 + GST Retainer protects far more than a place on the calendar. It allows your afternoon to be photographed with care rather than compressed into a rigid time slot. More than two hours are included, with room for wardrobe changes, physical comfort, and the pace required to photograph each look well.
The clock does not determine when the work is complete
You are not confined to a fixed sequence of outfits. There is generous room to explore several pieces from the studio wardrobe, along with meaningful items you bring from home. Rather than racing through every option, we choose the looks that contribute most to the photographs and give each one the time it requires. Bringing additional wardrobe does not create a checklist, and not every piece must be photographed. The wardrobe supports the photographs; it does not dictate their pace.
The final pace is guided by your chosen setting, available light, comfort, physical needs, the artwork you are planning toward, and what can be photographed well. With 13 years of professional photography and posing guidance, you are never responsible for knowing how to pose, where to place your hands, or which look should come next. You are given time to settle into each look while I remain attentive to the details that shape what follows.
MORE THAN TWO HOURS
Every session includes more than two hours of photography, leaving time to prepare, explore wardrobe, and settle into posing before the light begins to soften. The hour changes with the seasons; our time is measured by the light.
ONE SETTING INCLUDED
Choose one indoor or outdoor setting. Additional settings may be added for a separate fee.
WARDROBE FLEXIBILITY
Several looks are welcome from the studio wardrobe collection and from home. The final number is guided by the pace of the photoshoot and what can be photographed well.
13+ YEARS OF POSING GUIDANCE
Posing and expressions are directed throughout. You are never expected to know what to do next.
CHAPTER 03
What Comes Home
The artwork is a love letter you can return to

At your Consultation, the artwork is introduced the way it was meant to be: in your hands. You can open each piece, feel its weight, and linger over the details that disappear when it is reduced to a photograph on a screen. I reserve that first encounter for our meeting so you have time to become familiar with the options before you are asked to decide.
You are not expected to know what you want before you have met it.
A Little Black Book has an intimacy all its own. Often chosen as an anniversary gift, it becomes a private volume for two people who already share the history surrounding it; the years, the laughter, the familiar glances, and every unwritten chapter still ahead. An heirloom Album carries the story more expansively, allowing one photograph to answer the last, while wall art draws a single image forward and gives it a presence beyond the page. No form is treated as the correct one. The meaning lies in how you imagine returning to it.
Years From Now…
The reason you open those pages may have very little to do with how you looked
It may be an ordinary evening after the house has gone still, or a day when life has carried the afternoon farther from reach than you realized. The cover opens. The pages turn. Light, laughter, and the memory held within them return—not as a former self to mourn, but as a reminder that the woman in those pages is still you.
The artwork is not the ending of your session.
It is where the afterglow travels beyond the afternoon, returning you to the laughter, freedom, and quiet exhilaration of that day.

CHAPTER 04
Drawn Beforehand
The story is considered long before it reaches your hands

You do not need to know precisely what you will bring home before you have seen your photographs. Pre-ordering establishes the Album or Collection you are planning toward without asking you to decide every image in advance. The finer choices remain open until the photographs are before you.
The finished artwork enters the plan before the first photograph is made.
If you are planning a large horizontal piece, I compose several photographs with that scale and orientation in mind, allowing the image to carry the breadth of the wall from the beginning. If you have chosen an Album, I photograph in sequence, considering how one image answers the next, how a page turns, and how each spread can be filled with you rather than surrendered to white space.
In the weeks before your session, I sketch poses for you specificly, guided by what you shared at your Consultation, rather than relying on a fixed sequence repeated from one client to the next. The artwork you are planning toward helps guide those sketches: the intimacy of a Little Black Book, the breadth of wall art, or the full-page storytelling of an Album. Your pre-order does not determine every photograph in advance. It gives the work direction while leaving the final selection in your hands.

CHAPTER 05
As They Were Made
The woman within the frame was never unfinished

Before retouching enters the conversation, I want you to meet the photographs without the familiar veil of filters and softened versions that fill our screens. The expression in your eyes, the line of a pose, the light across your skin – they belonged to you that afternoon. The first viewing belongs to the photograph as it was made.
Only after you have chosen your favourites do we decide how far the finishing hand should go. One woman asks for a temporary mark to disappear; another wants her complexion softened; another prefers the lightest touch possible. There is no single retouching formula pressed over every client. The final treatment follows your preferences without carrying you so far from the original that you become unfamiliar to yourself.
At the Reveal, the afternoon returns in fragments you may not have known I caught: a glance between poses, the ease of a laugh, the frame that holds your attention longer than the rest. Those are the photographs that lead the selection. Retouching comes afterward, in service of the photograph you chose, not as the reason it was chosen.
CHAPTER 06
The Pages You Carry Forward
There is no prescribed length
for a story this personal

Long after the afternoon has returned to the ordinary rhythm of life, a few photographs may continue to call you back. One holds the laugh you had forgotten I caught. Another carries the stillness that followed it. A third gathers the light, the lace, and the look in your eyes into a frame you cannot quite leave behind. The final selection is often found in those unexpected frames, the photographs you return to before you have even looked away.
Five may hold the heart of the afternoon. An Album may ask to tell it in sequence, one page answering the last until the story feels complete. Neither carries greater meaning simply because it is longer. The care given to the finished work does not rise or fall with the number of photographs chosen; each one is retouched and prepared with the same attention.
Your pre-order may have given the artwork a direction, but it never confines the final choice. You may keep what you planned, add the photographs that surprised you, or discover that the story feels complete sooner than expected. What leaves with you is decided by recognition: the frames that stay with you after the others have passed, and the pages you can already imagine opening again years from now.

When One Frame
is enough
A single photograph can hold the heart of the afternoon without asking for another beside it.

When the Story
continues across pages
An Album allows one photograph to answer the next until the sequence feels complete.
